İlköğretim Öğretmenlerinin Matematiğe Yönelik Tutumlarının Öğretmen Özellikleri Açısından İncelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmada sınıf öğretmenlerinin matematiğe yönelik tutumlarının belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma 2009-2010 eğitim öğretim yılı bahar döneminde, Türkiye'de ilköğretim okullarında görev yapan 1193 sınıf öğretmeni üzerinde yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen matematiğe yönelik tutum ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda kadın öğretmenlerin matematiğe yönelik duyuşsal boyutlu tutum puanlarının erkek öğretmenlere göre yüksek olduğu, öğretmenlerin yaşları arttıkça duyuşsal boyutlu tutum puanlarının azaldığı, en yüksek tutum puanlarına 0-5 yıl arasında kıdemi bulunan öğretmenlerin sahip olduğu görülmüştür.

This study aims to determine what teachers' towards mathematics attitudes. In this study, the views of 1193 teachers working at a primary school during the spring term 2009-2010 were evaluated. In this research the one data collection tools were used, which was also developed by the current researcher to determine. With regard to the findings of the research problems, ıt was noted taht the scores of the female teachers' dimensional affective attitude towards mathematics age higher than those of the male teachers, that the dimensional affective scores of the teachers decreased as their age increased, that it is the teachers who work seniority of 0-5 years that have the highest scores.
