This article deals with the place of the Ghouta region of Syria, the capital city of Damascus, within narrative culture. The unfortunate events which have taken place in Ghouta in recent years have been influential in the construction of this research. During the study, the narrations of Ghouta, which was included in the hadith literature, were brought together and classifled into three main titles: Ghouta's position, prophets' city Ghouta and Ghouta in the limes nearing the Doomsday. A total of fifteen narrative related to the subject were examined. Each hadith which is claimed to Prophet Muhammed (saas) was interpreted by making the confirmation of authenticity. In this framework, a total of twelve hadiths have been confirmed for authenticity. It has been determined that the historical information on the past of the Ghouta's position, history of the prophets, historical reports under the headings of Ghouta, holds weaknesses of such transfers in terms of reliability. The narrations under the title of Guta about in the times nearing Doomsday, contain information for the future. In these reports it is stated that Ghouta will be conquered, that Muslims will come together in this region and they will put their headquarters there. It is seen that the half of the reports related to the future will be weak and the other half will be accurate; and that the contents of the authentic and the weak reports are the same and they support each other.
