Memorat refers to a narrative beyond the myth and the reality of the holiness of exceeding the limit and metaphysical narratives about experiences of the individuals included in the legend team concept. Memorat is an individual experience and not a transfer or rumour. Cultural control mechanisms of such narratives as a creator or protector of social norms stand in close proximity to human life. The death is considered a topic where traditional values are maintained in the broadest sense in the narrow sense of the Muslim communities in the Alevi-Bektashi faith, and even as life at the beginning of the universe while it is pushed out of human life, which constitutes one of the most important periods in the transition. It is possible to find examples of belief around the death in the narratives in the oral tradition. The main feature of expressing the meaning of this nature is prescriptive. It provides the social order and events and facts to establish cause-effect relationship among the functions in life. In this study, it is aimed to analyse episodes of a memorat that narrated on death and based on Hz. Ali and compiled in Korkut Village of the town of Gümüşhaciköy in Amasya. It is a member of the tradition of telling society that reflects the effects of educational outcomes that have been attained. Also, assessments are made about the relation between thw legend and memorat from this narrative that subjected.
