Hemşirelerin Subkutan Heparin Enjeksiyon Uygulamasına İlişkin Bilgi Düzeyleri

Abstract

Amaç: Bu araştırma hemşirelerin subkutan heparin enjeksiyonu uygulamasına ilişkin bilgi düzeylerini belirlemek amacıyla tanımlayıcı olarak yapılmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Araştırmanın evrenini bir üniversite hastanesinin cerrahi, dahili ve yoğun bakım servislerinde çalışan 110 hemşire oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada herhangi bir örneklem yöntemi kullanılmamış, araştırmaya katılmayı kabul eden ve veri toplama formunu eksiksiz dolduran 72 hemşire ile araştırma tamamlanmıştır. Verilerin toplanmasında Tanıtıcı Bilgi Formu ve Subkutan Heparin Uygulama Bilgi Formu kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Hemşirelerin %47.2’si 36 ve üzeri yaşında, %47.2’si ön lisans mezunu, %44.4’ü cerrahi klinikte görev yaptığı, % 29.2’sinin subkutan heparin tedavisine ilişkin makale okuduğu, % 53.7’sinin subkutan heparin prospektüsü okuduğu, %80.6’sının enjeksiyon için rotasyon yaptığı, %84.5’inin kanama kontrolü için aspirasyon yapmadığı, %83.3’ünün enjeksiyon sonrası kuru pamuk kullandığı ve %69.4’ünün ise bölgeye 45˚-90˚lik açı ile enjeksiyon yaptığı belirlenmiştir. Sonuç: Araştırmada hemşirelerin subkutan heparin enjeksiyonu uygulamasına ilişkin bilgilerinin yeterli düzeyde olmadığı belirlenmiştir. Araştırmanın sonuçları doğrultusunda hizmet içi eğitim programlarında subkutan enjeksiyon konusunun düzenli aralıklarla ele alınması, nitel ve gözlemsel araştırmalar yapılması önerilmiştir.

Aim: This research was conducted as a descriptive study to determine the knowledge level of nurses about subcutaneous heparin injection. Materials and Methods: It was carried out with 110 nurses working in the surgical, internal and intensive care services of a university hospital.No sampling method was used in the study, and the study was completed with 72 nurses who accepted to participate in the study and filled out the data collection form completely.The data were collected using a Personal Information Formu and Subcutaneous Heparin Administration Information Form. Results: It was determined that 47.2% of the nurses were 36 years and older, 47.2% were associate degree graduates, 44.4% worked in the surgical clinic, 29.2% read articles on subcutaneous heparin treatment, 53.7% 1% read the subcutaneous heparin package insert, 80.6% rotated for injection, 84.5% did not aspirate for bleeding control, 83.3% used dry cotton after injection, and 69.4% applied to the site. injected at an angle of 45˚-90˚. Conclusion: In the study, it was determined that the nurses' knowledge about subcutaneous heparin injection was not sufficient. In line with the results of the research, it has been suggested that the subject of subcutaneous injection should be addressed at regular intervals in in-service training programs and qualitative and observational studies should be conducted.
