Fen Bilimleri Eğitimindeki Beyin Temelli Öğrenme Araştırmalarının İncelenmesi 2000-2015 Yılları Arası

Abstract

Bu araştırma, 2000-2015 yılları arasında Türkiye adresli Social Science Citation Index SSCI ’de taranan dergilerde beyin temelli öğrenmeye yönelik yayımlanan makaleler ile Yükseköğretim Kurulu Başkanlığı Tez Merkezi veri tabanından erişilebilen, ilgili konuda yazılmış tezlerden yapılmış analitik bir çalışmadır. Araştırma örneklemi amaçlı örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlenmiş olup, 2000-2015 yılları arasındaki SSCI’de taranan dergilerdeki makalelerden ve Yükseköğretim Kurulu Başkanlığı Tez Merkezi veri tabanında taranan tezleri kapsamaktadır. Araştırma kapsamında örnekleme alınan dergiler ve tezler incelenerek beyin temelli öğrenmeye yönelik 50 tez ve 4 makale olmak üzere toplam 54 çalışmaya ulaşılmıştır. İncelenen çalışmalardan fen, fizik ve biyoloji alanında yapılan 20 tez ve 4 makale araştırma örneklem olarak kabul edilmiştir. Çalışmalar farklı araştırmacılar tarafından birbirinden bağımsız olarak, yayın değerlendirme şablonu kullanılarak incelenmiş, veriler betimsel olarak analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonunda yüksek lisans tez çalışmalarının daha fazla yapıldığı, çalışmaların biri dışında yayın dilinin Türkçe olduğu, genellikle fen bilimleri eğitimi alanında çalışıldığı görülmektedir. Çalışmaların nicel yöntemlerle yapıldığı, çalışmalar da gruplarının genellikle ortaokul öğrencilerinden seçildiği de tespit edilmiştir. This study is an analytical by searching the published articles in the journals with Turkish addresses having Social Science Citation Index SSCI between the years 2000-2015 about Brain Based Learning BBL which are reached in Thesis Centre of Higher Education Centre. The research sample were determined through purposed sampling method and it covers the articles published in journals with SSCI and the thesis from the data based on thesis centre of Higher Education Council between the years 2000-2015. In the context of this study as a sample, 50 theses and 4 articles total 54 studies related to the BBL were reached by searching the thesis and journals. 20 theses and 4 articles were accepted as a sample of the study carried on science, physics and biology. The studies were investigated by different researchers independently by using the publishing evaluation pattern and data analysed by descriptive analysing method. At the end of the study, it was found out that most of the studies were master of thesis, except one of them they were published in Turkish language and they were usually related to the science education. It was seen that the previous studies were carried on by using quantitative method and the study groups were selected from the students attending to the secondary schools. In the studies, there were total 147 key words used and as key words BBL, Attitude, Success were preferred. At the end of the research, a new perspective was suggested about the studies carried in Turkey on BBL. Moreover, some suggestions were offered to the ones who will carry on further studies in science education and they will carry on their studies on theoretical and practical postgraduate studies in BBL frame
