4+4+4 DÜZENLEMESİNİN OKUL ÖNCESİ EĞİTİM ÜZERİNDEKİ ETKİLERİNİN İNCELENMESİ

Abstract

Kamuoyunda 4+4+4 olarak bilinen ve zorunlu eğitimi 12 yıla çıkaran kanunla eğitim sisteminde ilkokula başlama yaşının 66 aya düşmesi okul öncesi eğitim döneminin 37-66 ay olarak belirlenmesine neden olmuştur. Bu çalışmada 4+4+4 sisteminde okula başlama yaşının düşmesinin, okul öncesi dönemde uygulama boyutunda ve gelişimsel düzeyde çocuklar üzerindeki etkisi araştırılmıştır. Çalışmada okul öncesi öğretmenleriyle yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonuçlarına göre öğretmenlerin sistemin getirdiği yeniliklerden dolayı eğitim sürecinde zorluklar yaşadığı, çocukların ise gelişimsel alanlarda yetersizlikler yaşadığı görülmüştür.

The descent of the starting age for elementary school to 66 months through the law that is commonly known as 4+4+4 and has increased compulsory education into 12 years has caused that the period for early childhood education is determined as 37-66 months. In this study, the effects of age descent in 4+4+4 system on children in early childhood period in terms of practice and development were investigated. In the study, the semistructured interviews were conducted with early childhood teachers. According to the results of the study, it is observed that teachers have difficulties in education process and children has incompetence in developmental are as due to the changes brought by the system
