İmece ile Kurulan İlçe Seben

Abstract

Tarama modeliyle gerçekleştirilen bu araştırma Türk kültürüyle bezenmiş bir ilçesi olan Bolu’nun Seben İlçesi’nin tarihi gelişimi, eğitim ve kültürü üzerine bir inceleme olan betimsel bir araştırmadır. Bu araştırmada nitel veri toplama tekniklerinden doküman incelemesi kullanılmış ve elde edilen veriler içerik analizi yöntemiyle incelenmiştir. Seben, Frigyalılar, Roma, Bizans ve Osmanlı Devleti dönemine uzanan kadim bir yerleşim alanı olmuştur. Osmanlı Devleti döneminde Keskinli/Çarşamba ismiyle nahiye merkezi olan Seben birçok kültüre ev sahipliği yapmıştır.

This research, carried out with the survey model, is descriptive research that is an examination of the historical development, education and culture of Seben District of Bolu, a district adorned with Turkish culture. In this research, document analysis, one of the qualitative data collection techniques, was used and the obtained data was examined by content analysis method. Seben has been an ancient settlement dating back to the Phrygians, Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman Empire periods. Seben, which was the town center under the name Keskinli/Çarşamba during the Ottoman Empire, has hosted many cultures.
