Analysis of Hadiths in Terms of ‘’Regionalism’’ that are Narrated in Syria Region

Abstract

Regionalism issue in hadiths is a fact which is started by first period intellectuals. We’ve wanted to deal with this subjected matter specific to Syria region by this time in our research that a follow up of our previous research about Egypt. We can say the hadiths originated from Hejaz were started to relate in here as well in a date which was earlier than Egypt because of its being of the centre of the state. But it was much late possible to be accepted that narrations in other regions which were already known in Syria. Moreover, just like in Egypt, we can only find limited mutâbi/shahid of hadiths in other regions that are known here also. So we’ve tried to show this issue more closely in narrations of Makhûl al-Dimashqî. In this concept we have reached some results on trustworthiness of the isnâd system.

Hadislerde bölgesellik hususu daha ilk dönem âlimlerince ifade edilmiş bir olgudur. Mısırla ilgili daha önceki çalışmamızın devamı niteliğindeki bu çalışmamızda söz konusu durumu bu sefer Şam bölgesi özelinde ele almak istedik. Devletin merkezi olması dolayısıyla Mısır’a göre daha erken diyebileceğimiz bir tarihte Hicaz kaynaklı hadislerin burada da rivâyet edilmeye başlandığını söyleyebiliriz. Ancak Şam’da bilinen rivâyetlerin diğer bölgelerde kabul görmesi çok daha geç tarihlerde mümkün olmuştur. Ayrıca Mısır’da olduğu gibi burada bilinen hadislerin de diğer bölgelerde sadece az sayıda mütâbi veya şâhidlerine rastlayabilmekteyiz. İşte bu durumu Mekhûl ed-Dımaşkî’nin rivâyetlerinde daha yakından göstermeye çalıştık. Bu bağlamda onun irsallerinin sıhhati ve isnâd sisteminin güvenilirliği hususunda bazı tespitlerde bulunduk.
