dc.description.abstract | This paper aims to capture the recent research trends on molecular integrals over STOs and identify the most productive groups, journals and most frequent keywords, through bibliometric analysis. The data were obtained from the Web of Science Core Collection database during 1980–2021. The findings of the study showed that while the productivity in the publication of papers did not vary much during 1980–1990, there was an increasing interest in the field during 1991–2004. However, this interest decreased rapidly from 2005 to the present and declined to its level in the 1980s. The level of cooperation between research groups was also very low, and a limited number of studies were mostly supported by national funds. © 2023 Elsevier Inc. | en_US |
