Sosyal bilgiler öğretmen adaylarının sosyal bilimler algılarının metaforik analizi

Abstract

Yapılan bu çalışma öğretmen adaylarının sosyal bilimler ile ilgili algılarını metafor (mecaz) yoluyla incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Metafor, birden çok kelimeyle anlatılacak bir kavramı daha az kelime kullanarak anlatmaya yarayan bir sanat olarak ifade edilebilir. Metaforlar, kişilerin belirli bir kavramı algılama biçimlerinin anlaşılmasına katkı sağlamaktadır. Bu çalışma nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden olgu bilim (fenomenoloji) deseniyle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmada verilerin toplanması için öğretmen adaylarına sunulmak üzere veri toplama formu hazırlanmıştır. Veri toplama formunda katılımcılardan kendilerine verilen sosyal bilimlerle ilgili metafor oluşturmaları ve gerekçelerini ifade etmeleri istenmiştir. Katılımcılar tarafından oluşturulan metaforlar QSR Nvivo nitel analiz programı yardımıyla betimsel analize tabi tutulmuştur. Betimsel analiz sırasında oluşturulan kodlamalardan yola çıkılarak araştırmanın alt problemleri doğrultusunda temalar belirlenmiştir. Bulgular incelendiğinde katılımcıların daha çok somut metaforlar oluşturdukları tespit edilmiştir. En fazla metafor üretilen bilim dalının tarih olduğu ve en az metafor üretilen bilim dalının ise siyaset bilimi olduğu göze çarpmaktadır.

This study is expected to examine pre-service teachers' perceptions of Social Sciences metaphorically. Metaphor can be expressed as an art that works by using too many words and one less word. Metaphors help the teaching of teaching in a certain way. This study was carried out with the phenomenology pattern from the qualitative research method. For the safety of the study, applications for data generation programs were prepared. It cannot be scaled up without being associated with data collection. Social Sciences enable them to create metaphors and express their creations. The metaphors created by the students were subjected to descriptive analysis by the QSR Nvivo qualitative analysis program. Based on the information about descriptive analysis, sub-information is taught. It has been determined that they create metaphors that embody the created ones more. It is the history of a science with the most metaphors and an important aspect of political science.
