Sosyal bilgiler öğretmenlerinin tükenmişlik nedenlerine yönelik öz algı düzeylerinin incelenmesi (Amasya ili örneği)

Abstract

Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretmenlerinin Tükenmişlik Nedenlerine Yönelik Öz Algı Düzeylerinin İncelenmesi (Amasya İli Örneği) Bu çalışmada, 2016-2017 eğitim öğretim yılında Amasya ili merkez ve ilçelerinde Milli Eğitim Bakanlığına bağlı resmi okullarda çalışan Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretmenlerinin tükenmişlik nedenlerine yönelik öz algı düzeylerinin alt boyutları ile cinsiyet, yaş, mesleki kıdem değişkenlerine göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığı incelenmiştir. Araştırmada nicel araştırma yaklaşımı kullanılmıştır. Öğretmenlerin tükenmişlik nedenlerine yönelik öz algı düzeylerini belirlemek amacıyla araştırmacı tarafından 29 maddeli ve 4 boyuttan oluşan "Öğretmenlerde Tükenmişlik Düzeyleri Öz Algı Ölçeği" geliştirilmiştir. Ölçek, tam sayım örneklem yöntemi kullanılarak evrenin tamamı olan 160 öğretmene uygulanmış, gönüllülük esası çerçevesinde 141 öğretmenden dönüş sağlanarak veriler elde edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen veriler SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın alt problemlerini, Amasya merkez ve ilçelerindeki sosyal bilgiler öğretmenlerinin tükenmişlik nedenlerine yönelik öz algı düzeylerinin yaş, cinsiyet, mesleki kıdem ve alt boyutlara göre anlamlı bir farklılık gösterip göstermediği oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmaya katılan öğretmenlerin kişisel özelliklerine yönelik tanımlayıcı istatistiksel analizler için frekans, yüzde, aritmetik ortalama ve standart sapma değerleri hesaplanmıştır. Analiz sürecinde araştırmanın alt problemlerine uygun olarak bağımsız örneklemler t-testi, tek yönlü varyans analizi yapılmıştır. Araştırmada sosyal bilgiler öğretmenlerinin tükenmişlik nedenlerine yönelik öz algı düzeylerinin yaş, cinsiyet, mesleki kıdem değişkenlerine göre anlamlı düzeyde farklılık göstermediği, alt boyutlara göre ise sosyal bilgiler öğretmenlerinin "Katılıyorum" düzeyinde öz algıya sahip oldukları belirlenmiştir.

Research of self-perception levels of Social Studies Teachers regarding the reasons of occupational burnout (Amasya Province Sample) In this study, whether the self-perceptions regarding the reasons of occupational burnout of Social Studies Teachers who work in formal schools of Ministry of National Education in Amasya and its districts in 2016-2017 educational year vary or not according to the scale's sub-dimensions and to the variables such as gender, age and serving time has been examined. In the study, quantitative research approach was used. With the purpose of diagnosing self-perception levels regarding the reasons of occupational burnout of teachers, "a teachers' occupational burnout levels self-perception scale" which consists of 29 items and 4 dimensions has been formed. Scale has been implemented by using a full counting sample approach on 160 teachers who constitutes the whole population and data has been gained by 141 teachers who volunteer. In the result of the research, data has been analyzed by using the convenient statistical program SPSS. Research's sub-problems consist of self-perception levels regarding the reasons of occupational burnout of Social Studies Teachers in Amasya and its districts and whether the self-perception levels show a meaningful difference or not according to gender, age, serving time or sub-dimensions. Regarding the personal qualities of teachers who participated in the research, for descriptive statistical analysis, frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation levels have been calculated. In the process of analysis, independent sample t test and one-way analysis of variance are made thanks to being convenient for research's sub-problems. In the research, it has been determined that regarding the occupational burnout of Social Studies Teachers, self-perception levels show that no meaningful difference according to gender, age and serving time variables and according to sub-dimensions teachers have " I agree" level of self-perception.
