dc.description.abstract | In Al-40wt% Zn, Al-40wt% Zn-% 5wtPb and Al40wt% Zn-% 5Tl alloys different phase regions with different tones in the microstructures were determined. The EDS results obtained from these phase regions indicated that the light-grey regions are rich in aluminium alpha(Al), while the medium-grey regions are rich in zinc beta(Zn) and mixture regions alpha + beta eutectic phases. In the alloys, phase structures and hkl indices were calculated for each phase planes utilizing 20 values of the fracture shape and the unit cell parameters. XRD studies also showed the occurrence of two phase regions. These phases were identified as alpha(Al) and beta(Zn). | en_US |
