Osmanlı Eğitim Kurumlarından Çağdaş Eğitime Geçiş

Abstract

Osmanlı eğitimle yükseldi. Eğitimde yenileşmeyi devam ettiremediği için çağa ayak uyduramamanın sancılarını çeke çeke eridi. Medreseler kurdu, idadiler, rüştiyeler, darülfünunlar oluşturdu, ama bunların işlevi olan bilimsel anlayışı kurumsallaşhramadı. Ancak bu anormallik Osmanlı kurumlarından yetişmesine rağmen, batı mantığını anlayan Mustafa Kemal gibi bir dehanın, Cumhuriyeti kurması ile oluşturduğu eğitim kurumlarıyla aşılmaya çalışıldı. Osmanlı'dan Atatürk'e uzayan bu eğitim serüveninin çok iyi bilinmesi gerekir. Tarama modeli ile gerçekleştirilen bu çalışmada eğitimin bir milleti yok edişi ve var edişinin kısa bir anlatımı verilmeye çalışılmıştır.

The ottomans developed their country through the high level of their education. They declined as they could not continue the progresses in education in thair period. They established different typer of school but they could not establish the concept of science. This abnormal logic could not prevent Mustafa KEMAL/who learned the European mentality,to improve himself and established new educational, institutions in modern Turkish Republic. We should learn the education adventure from ottoman period to Atatürk's. İn this study, It is tried to explain the decline and the rebirth of a nation through literatural model.
