Orta öğretim öğretmenlerine düzenlenen bilim danışmanlığı çalıştayının değerlendirilmesi (Tokat örneği)

Abstract

Bu çalışma, TÜBİTAK-BİDEB tarafından desteklenen ortaöğretim öğretmenlerinin (fizik, kimya, biyoloji, matematik ve bilgisayar) bilimsel araştırma projesi yürütebilme ve öğrencilerine bilim danışmanlığı yapabilme becerilerinin geliştirilmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Bu amaçla, 21–25 Ocak 2008’de Tokat’ta 54 öğretmenle düzenlenen çalıştayın amacına ulaşıp ulaşmadığı, öğretmenlerin mesleki gelişimlerine katkısının olup olmadığı, etkinliğin değerlendirilmesine öğretmenlerin cinsiyet, yaş, branş, mezun oldukları fakülte, kıdem, görevli oldukları il ve okullarının etkisinin olup olmadığını araştırılmıştır. Verilerin toplanması ve değerlendirilmesinde etkinliğe başlamadan önce ve sonra anket çalışmaları, etkinlikler sırasında yapılan nitel gözlemler ve yarı yapılandırılmış mülakat görüşmelerinden çalıştayın amacına ulaştığı belirlenmiştir. Hizmet içi kurslarının yapılan çalıştaya benzer şekilde yapıldığında öğretmenlerin mesleki gelişimlerine daha faydalı ve üretken olacaklarını düşündürmektedir.

This study was supported by TUBITAK-BİDEB of secondary school teachers (physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics and computer) to conduct scientific research projects and students to develop their ability to make scientific advice have been conducted.
