Poetry collections (majmuas) and conks are among the primary resources of Turkish Literature history. Apart from providing rich materials for literary history, these works are productive resources waiting to be worked on in terms of carrying many records related to various areas such as sociology, folklore, cultural history, history of religions, alternative medicine and pharmacology. However, it is hard to say that academic works on these are sufficient both in quality and quantity. Although the number of the works on poetry majmuas has increased in recent years, the ones on conks are pale in comparison to amount of them available in th eresources in portion. In this study, first, the concept of conk is defined as a literary term. Secondly, the portion of the diwan, folk and the mystical poets took place in conks, and which of these poets are high in number are searched in this paper. Based on this data, it will be conclude that the common definition of conks are not identical with the one came out from this work. Thirdly, some remarks will be added on the poets mostly used in the conks. Finally, giving sample texts the term of conk will be redefined, in other words what the conk really is will be answered according the main sources of Turkish literary history such as diwans, tezkeres and poetry majmuas in here. In addition to this, some evaluations will also be done. Regarding the number of the conks examined in this paper, it can be said that the data presented via tables for monitoring the concrete results, is not a sampling, but tangible findings contain almost all surveyed conks. Another issue evaluated in our article is to determine comparative findings on inclinations of majmua and conk compilers in choosing poets taken to their works. The basic materials-conks-used for writing the 'di-wan poetry in the conks' part of this work, are the compile of 63 ones from my personal library and the 480 classifed ones out of 571 conks placed in official website of yazmalar.gov.tr.en_US
