ON MULTIDIMENSIONAL FREDHOLM INTEGRAL EQUATIONS OF THE FIRST KIND

Abstract

We introduce a new algorithm for solving multidimensional Fred holm integral equations of the first kind. The regularization and the weighted mean-value methods constitute the algorithm. The former is used to transform the Fredholm integral equations of the first kind to the Fredholm integral equations of the second kind and the latter is employed to solve the resulting Fredhom integral equations. Examples will be provided to demonstrate the reliability and applicability of the proposed approach.
