SANAT YAPITI VE YENİ MEDYA

Abstract

Süregelen zaman içinde tarihsel, kültürel, bilimsel ve teknolojik gelişmelerin etkisi altında sanat algısı sürekli değişmiş, buna bağlı olarak düşünce ve anlatım biçimleri ortaya çıkmıştır. Özellikle elektronik ve iletişim alanındaki gelişmeler küreselleşmeyi beraberinde getirerek “dijital kültürün” ve sanal (dijital) ortamların doğuşuna neden olmuştur. İnsanın iletişim, düşünme ve görme gibi duyusal becerilerini değiştirmiş ve geliştirmiştir. Geleneksel sanat anlayışı yerle bir olurken birey, toplum ve evren hakkında yeni sorgulamaların kapısı aralanmıştır. Sanat üretimi kavramsal zeminde anlam bulurken teknoloji, sanat yapıtının oluşumunda önemli bir araca dönüşmüş, yeni medya sanatının ortaya çıkmasına neden olmuştur. Yeni medya sanatçıya özgür ve esnek bir yaratım alanı sağlarken kavramsal fikirlerin yapıta dönüşmesinde metodoloji şeklini almıştır. Zaman ve mekan kavramları anlamını yitirerek yapıt-izleyici ilişkisini değiştirmiştir. İzleyicinin yapıta müdahalesini mümkün kılarak, izleyiciyi yapıtın bir parçası veya tamamlayanı haline getirmiştir. Bu çalışmada sanat yapıtı ve yeni medya ilişkisi irdelenmiş, kavramsal sanat fikirlerine güncel uygulama alanları sağladığı, sonuçlar açısından yeni medya teknolojilerinin önemli ifade araçlarına dönüştüğü anlaşılmıştır. Çalışma betimsel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Konu ile ilgili literatür taraması yapılarak, veriler nitel analiz yöntemiyle değerlendirilmiş, bulgular ışığında tespit ve öngörülerde bulunulması amaçlanmıştır.

Over time, under the influence of historical, cultural, scientific and technological developments, the perception of art has constantly changed, and accordingly forms of thought and expression have emerged. Especially developments in the field of electronics and communication have brought about globalization and led to the birth of "digital culture" and virtual (digital) environments. It has changed and improved human sensory skills such as communication, thinking and vision. While the traditional understanding of art has been destroyed, the door to new inquiries about the individual, society and the universe has been opened. While art production finds meaning on conceptual grounds, technology has become an important tool in the creation of works of art and has led to the emergence of new media art. While new media provides the artist with a free and flexible creative space, it has taken the form of a methodology in transforming conceptual ideas into works. The concepts of time and space have lost their meaning and changed the relationship between the work and the audience. By making it possible for the viewer to intervene in the work, it has made the viewer a part or complement of the work. In this study, the relationship between works of art and new media has been examined, and it has been understood that conceptual art ideas provide current application areas and that new media technologies have turned into important means of expression in terms of results. The study used descriptive research method. By conducting a literature review on the subject, the data was evaluated with the qualitative analysis method, and it was aimed to make determinations and predictions in the light of the findings.
