Religion exists from the birth of the human-being and has been a vital factor that meets the spiritel needs and effeccts the main thought and manners of the people. On this account, there has been a need for people who can serve about religious topics. This mission has been given to the Department of Religious Affairs in our country. Those people who are called as chaplain are generally the ones graduated from Vocational Religious High Schools, or the instructors of the Quran Courses. This study has been made in order to assess the burnout level and find out the variables that effect the burnout of the chaplains that are working in the towns, villages and the capital of Kahramanmaras, the data has been collocted by using the Maslach Burnout Scale and by the forms including the demograpic charakteristics. And the data has been analysed with SPSS 11,5 Consequently, it has been found out the socia-demograpic variables are yielding different results about burnout issui
