Farklı Branşlardaki Öğretmen Adaylarının Öğretmenlik Mesleğine Yönelik Tutumlarının Karşılaştırmalı Olarak İncelenmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışma eğitim fakültelerinde öğrenim gören farklı branşlardaki öğretmen adaylarının öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik geliştirdikleri tutumları karşılaştırmalı olarak incelemek amacı ile yapılmıştır.Bu amaç doğrultusunda Amasya Eğitim Fakültesi son sınıfta öğrenim gören farklı branşlardaki 680 öğretmen adayı evreni oluşturmaktadır.Örneklem ise, Amasya Eğitim Fakültesi Fen Bilgisi, Matematik, Okul Öncesi, Türkçe, Sosyal Bilgiler, Beden Eğitimi ve Sınıf Öğretmenliği programlarının son. sınıflarında öğrenim gören 40’ar öğrenci olmak üzere toplam 280 öğretmen adayı tesadüfi yöntemle belirlenmiştir. Çalışmada survey yöntemi kullanılmış ve 10 maddeden oluşan tutum ölçeği anketi uygulanmıştır. Çalışmadan elde edilen veriler öncelikle ortalama puanlarına göre incelenmiştir. Daha sonra farklı bölümlerdeki öğretmen adaylarının tutumları SPSS 10.0 programı kullanılarak, gruplar arası ve grup içi farklılıkların tespiti için tek yönlü anova testi, ikili grupların karşılaştırılmasında t-testi ve farklılığın yönünü tespit etmek için ise Scheffe testi uygulanmıştır. Öğretmen adaylarının tutumlarının farklılık gösterip göstermediği farklı değişken-ler açısından incelenmiş ve analiz edilmiştir. Öğretmen adaylarının mesleğe yönelik tutum düzeylerinin oldukça yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir.

This study is carried out to examine the attitudes of student teachers in different departments towards teaching comparatively. The sample of the study contains 680 student teachers attending to the final year of Amasya Education Faculty. The 280 students are chosen randomly attending to the 4th year of 40 students each from Science, Mathematics, Pre-school Teaching, Social Sciences, Turkish, Physical Exercises and Class Teaching departments. The survey method is used in the study and attitude scale is applied consisting of 10 items. The data obtained from the study is evaluated by mathematical ratio then the attitudes of student teachers are evaluated by using SPSS 10.0 programme and to determine the differences among groups and in groups are evaluated by ANOVA test,to compare the two groups t-test and to determine the difference Scheffe test were used. Whether the attitudes of the student teachers have differences are examined and analysed by means of different variants. It is determined that the attitude levels of the student teachers towards teaching is extremely high.
